Our Love Story

It was a right place, right time sort of thing. I was at a point in my life where i was all about my Independence and god. I was a youth pastor on the weekends and a dental assistant during the week, i was in the praise band at church and i hardly had time to go out.

It was my best friend at the times 21st birthday and she convinced me to go out. we had a few drinks at a popular bar downtown then headed to a club to dance. Thats when i saw him. I dont know hwat came over over me. It was probably the alcohol, but before i knew it i was lip to lip with the man that whould soon be my husband. I had just got out of a "sticky situation" and there i was plunging head first into one.

The next few weeks went by and i went on with my noraml life. & suddenly there he was. A text message on my phone saying "hey, its eric and i was hoping youd like to go out sometime"? My head was saying "oh great, not again" but my heart said "he is nice and funny, give him a chance" so i did. We courted for about a month and before i knew it Eric had asked if i would be "his girl" so i agreed and it progressed from there.

I dont really remember anyones first opinion of him but my mothers; she said "I dont like him, he is not the kind of guy you usually date and that scares me. I think you might marry him." & she was right only 6 short months later we were married and already expecting the arrival of our daughter AvaLeigh.

I prayed for god to send me a good man and he did. he is far from perfect as am i but he is some kind of wonderful.
